Phillip is a Chartered Accountant and started the business in 2015 following a career within practice and lecturing taxation. He has a wealth of experience assisting high net worth individuals with complex tax matters including tax investigation and tax mitigation.

He grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Chipping Sodbury and manages the agricultural and rural services bringing first hand knowledge of the industry to the advice provided.

He is also well known for presenting tax updates to fellow professionals and lecturing taxation for students preparing for their institute exams.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughters, cooking, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, canoeing and open water swimming.

Jeni qualified as a Chartered Certified accountant in 1999. She has a wealth of knowledge working as a client manager across all sectors dealing with valuations, compliance, taxation and finance director services.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her children.

Jane joined the team in 2021 and has worked within accountancy practice for over 25 years, her role mainly involves preparing accounts and tax returns together with supporting clients with software support.

In her spare time she enjoys going to the Gym, playing sports and touring the UK in her camper van.

Helen joined Dolman’s Accountants in July 2017, having previously worked for 15 years at Lloyds TSB both in a branch but mostly in Finance at their Head Office.

Her role at Dolman’s includes bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, sole trade accounts and Ltd company accounts.

Outside of work  she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and walking with her dog Alfie. she also enjoy cooking, especially trying new recipes.

Laura has over 22 years of administration experience with 19 of them being in the accounting industry. She joined Dolman’s in September 2021 looking for a new challenge.

Since joining Dolman’s she has set up numerous administration procedures and systems.  she is currently responsible for Client Confirmation Statements, New client set ups, Mail Merges, Client Communications and Payroll.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and dog Monty. She enjoys playing netball on the weekend and attending various fitness classes at her local sports centre.

Julie joined in 2020 having previously worked within accountancy practice for over 25 years. She has wealth of knowledge preparing accounts and tax returns for compliance purposes.

When not at work she enjoys travelling trying new restaurants and hiking.

Sophie is a mum of 2, after a successful career in quality management systems, she decided to re-train and successfully completed her AAT Accountancy qualification.

She prepares VAT Returns, Accounts, is actively involved in assisting clients prepare for making tax digital which involves training and transferring their bookkeeping function to Xero or FreeAgent.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys socialising with family and friends, working out in the gym and pole dancing.

Tess started her career at Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants before moving into education.

She taught Accountancy and Law for many years specialising in the AAT examination.

She transferred from Derek J Stenner in 2020 and deals with bookkeeping and VAT for clients.

She is passionate about horses, and enjoys playing badminton, reading, countryside walks and watching rugby.

Tracy originally trained  with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Cornwall where she completed her AAT qualification, before moving to Bristol when she joined Derek J Stenner in 1991 which was taken over by Dolmans in 2020.

She deals with all aspects of small limited companies, sole traders, personal self-assessments and partnerships.

In her spare time Tracy enjoys attending exercise classes, running, walking, and socialising with her friends.

When Dolmans joined forces with Derek J Stenner in 2020 Carol continued in her role as office manager.

Her duties include answering the phone, greeting clients in reception and organising the day to day running of the office.

In her spare time she runs with her friends, practices yoga, enjoys walking, travelling and skiing.

Claire joined Derek J Stenner in 2017 which was taken over by Dolmans in 2020.

Claire prepares  payroll, sole trade and partnership accounts and assists with all areas of taxation.

In 1995 Claire started her career in tax and gained her ATT qualification whilst working for a Bristol based accountancy practice before specialising in payroll.

In her spare time Claire enjoys walking, needle felting and socialising with friends.

Carol has been working in the payroll sector for over 27 years and accountancy for over 19 years.

She joined us 2020 and deals with sole trader’s accounts and all aspects of payroll.

Outside of work Carol enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with her friends, going to the gym and walking her Labrador Max.

Andy joined in 2018 to assist with bookkeeping and VAT returns. He enjoys travelling, gardening, cooking and has an interest in nodology.
